TRIẾT is an academic forum for philosophy, intellectual history, and related interdisciplinary studies concerning human beings, culture, and society.
The journal publishes research on philosophical theory, critique, Eastern and Western thought, ethical reflection, and contemporary problems in the humanities and social sciences.
It aims to sustain rigorous dialogue, careful reasoning, scholarly precision, and intellectual integrity across Vietnamese and international audiences.

Issue 18 of TRIẾT: Journal of Philosophy and Thought is a special issue commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Journal, while also honoring the memory of Rev. Joseph Phan Tấn Thành, O.P. (1946–2026). Alongside articles reflecting on the history of TRIẾT and the scholarly legacy of Fr. Phan Tấn Thành, this issue features studies on Sartre, Edgar Morin, Jean-Luc Nancy, Derrida, Heidegger–Gadamer, aesthetics and AI-generated art, as well as research on the Paracel and Spratly Islands. We are pleased to present this issue to our readers.
